oldest DAMA chapter in the Tri-state region and is one of the oldest data
management professional organizations as well.
DAMA is solely supported by its membership and has no product or vendor
affiliations. The DAMA New York Chapter serves professionals in the private,
public and academic sectors of the NY Tri-State area.
DAMA-NY publishes a newsletter in tandem with the regularly scheduled
general sessions. The newsletter features overviews of upcoming sessions,
updates on future events, review of past events, reports on the activities
of DAMA International, and other topics of interest.
DAMA-NY offers corporate and individual memberships. The annual membership
fee entitles DAMA-NY members to attend all general sessions as well as
receive the newsletter free of charge. In addition, reduced fees are offered
for DAMA-NY informational Technology Day, DAMA-NY special events and industry
